March is here!

Oh man, what a month February was. I was busy with work, sick kids, and trying to lose weight. A few days I had to opt out of going to the gym because I did not get enough sleep, but I think I did a good job.
This was me a month ago:

And this is me today:

Just over 7 pounds in a month is not bad. It's a healthy weight loss even. I feel great, I can really see a difference.
So what am I doing? I have cut out sugar, opting for Stevia, or Splenda in some cases (my Glucerna shakes, which I have after the gym, are sweetened with Splenda). If I make my own protein shake I use Stevia.
I have also cut out wheat. I use Silver Hills Sprouted grain bread, which is a healthier bread that your body can break down easier, and does not spike your blood sugar.
Collagen is also another thing I have added to my diet, even though it is not a complete protein collagen is the protein that holds your cells together. It improves your hair growth, nail growth and your skin.
I have not eaten chips in months. I crave popcorn most days though, but the Skinny Pop popcorn is a healthier option that I have found, and I have been able to stay within the right serving size and NOT go back for more.
Lily's chocolate, which is sweetened with Stevia, has also been a life saver for when I really crave chocolate.
And, even though Zane (my 10 month old!) is not always sleeping through the night (the past week he has a few times though!) I am still getting around 8 hours of sleep a night. Sleep is VERY important for weight loss.
I work out at the gym, walking 4km on the treadmill, or doing 2km on the elliptical with 2km on the treadmill. I do my best to go to the gym every morning before work. As I said earlier, there have only been a few days where I could not go because of lack of sleep (sick kids!).
I am still taking the dietary supplement of the HBH Salts, the Keto pills.
My 28th birthday is in 38 days. I am hoping to be under 200lbs by then. I will update again in 4 weeks (March 31), and then again on my birthday to see if I reached my goal.
Thank you again for all of your encouragement!
