Wow, guys, it has felt like a really long journey, and actually it's been nearly a year. My youngest was born April 20th of 2017, so his first birthday is coming up soon. Before he was conceived, I unfortunately had allowed my weight to get up to 260lbs. With the morning sickness I lost 15lbs, and only gained back a healthy 20lbs--all of which were gone again within the first month of post-partum.
I started my weightloss journey a month or so after Zane was born. My good friend Pamela had helped me get some AdvoCare (it was only sold in the States last year, so I could not get it myself. She graciously ordered it for me and shipped it to me).
So, I was starting at 245lbs then after the 20lbs of postpartum. During the spring and up until the first of July I walked every day, 4km. With the AdvoCare 24 Day Challenge I lost 10lbs, and then with Thrive I lost an additional 10lbs, taking me down to 225lbs. But, once Jason went back to work in July I found myself stressed out and drinking again. By the end of the summer I found my weight back up to 245lbs.
Since I was going back to work in November, I wanted to kick myself back into gear. I started back with Thrive and got myself walking again. I managed to drop 15lbs from October to December, which is when I started this blog. This was me then at 230lbs:
I started with Keto pills, which really helped with energy levels. I also got a gym membership to Anytime Fitness so I could walk every morning before work (3-4km on the treadmill or the elliptical). I cut out sugar, chips, processed foods...I switched to sprouted wheat bread and stopped drinking milk. I eat a lot of eggs, and have taken supplements (the Keto pills, Le-Vel's Thrive, and most recently another AdvoCare 24 Day Challenge).
This is me today:I am wearing size 18 pants now, and my work pants?
I NEED MY BELT TO HOLD THEM UP NOW.
I started the AdvoCare 24 Day Challenge March 28th. I have lost 3 inches across my waist and belly! AND I am only like 10lbs heavier than my husband now! I have under 30lbs to go to get to my goal of 180lbs, which is my pre-baby weight before my first born (who just turned 5).
Again, I want to thank everyone for your encouragement! Check back in May 5th to see if I reach by 199lb goal.
